When Jason Lollar first started designing Strat pickups he was winding for specific customer requests using vintage Fender amps for reference tone. Some players wanted low output and a clear, spanky tone, while some wanted more midrange with tighter punch. That’s how the Tweed, Blonde, Blackface and Specials Strat series evolved.

 Jason designed Lollar’s P-90 pickups not only to sound great but has always built them with materials designed to not deteriorate or become brittle over time. All of Lollar’s P-90s are vintage inspired. Also, you’re not limited by your guitar since you can get Lollar’s distinct P-90 sound in a soapbar, dog ear, humbucker, or Jazzmaster route!

Here at Guitar Guys, we offer expert pickup installation. You can either bring in your favorite guitar to be outfitted with a set of new Lollar pickups, or you can call and have them added to any instrument ordered from us.
