The Fender Custom Shop 1951 Nocaster Relic is a highly sought-after electric guitar known for its faithful recreation of the original 1951 Nocaster, Fender’s first solid-body electric guitar. It features a lightweight ash body, a one-piece rift sawn maple neck with a “U” shape, and is finished with a nitrocellulose lacquer that is relic’d to resemble a well-worn vintage instrument. The guitar is equipped with hand-wound pickups, offering the characteristic twang and chime of the original. It also includes a vintage-style bridge with brass saddles, vintage-style tuners, and a modified 1951 wiring for a range of tones.
