Ibanez GRGR131EXBKF Black Flat

The Ibanez GRGR131EX GRG Series electric guitar combines aggressive styling, fast playability, and powerful tone in an affordable instrument built for rock and metal players. Featuring a lightweight poplar body, a fast maple neck, and a purpleheart fingerboard, this guitar is designed to handle everything from tight rhythm riffs to fast, technical lead work. Dual Infinity R humbuckers deliver a punchy, versatile sound with the clarity needed to maintain definition under high-gain settings, while the F106 hardtail bridge provides reliable tuning stability and solid sustain.

Finished in black with matching black hardware and distinctive sharktooth position markers, the GRGR131EX has a bold, modern appearance that stands out onstage. With 24 frets, a comfortable neck, and a straightforward control layout, it offers the performance-focused features Ibanez is known for at a budget-friendly price.

Infinity R Humbuckers for Powerful, Versatile Tone

The GRGR131EX features a pair of Infinity R humbucking pickups designed to deliver a tight, balanced response with plenty of output for heavier musical styles. These pickups provide a strong foundation for distorted rhythm tones, punchy power chords, and cutting lead sounds while retaining clarity when the gain is turned up.

F106 Hardtail Bridge for Stability and Sustain

The Ibanez F106 hardtail bridge provides a stable foundation for consistent tuning and dependable performance. Its fixed design eliminates the need to manage a tremolo system, making it a practical choice for players who prioritize straightforward setup and reliable tuning during demanding playing sessions.

Fast Maple Neck and Purpleheart Fingerboard

The GRGR131EX features a maple neck designed for a comfortable, responsive playing experience. Its streamlined feel supports quick movement across the fretboard, making it suitable for fast riffs, intricate chord shapes, and demanding solo passages.

A purpleheart fingerboard adds a distinctive appearance and a smooth playing surface. The 24-fret design gives players access to a full two-octave range per string, providing plenty of room for higher-register melodies and extended lead work.

Blacked-Out Hardware and Aggressive Styling

The Ibanez GRGR131EX features an all-black aesthetic that complements its rock and metal-inspired design. Black hardware, including the tuning machines and bridge components, creates a consistent look across the instrument, while the sharktooth position markers add a distinctive visual accent.

Its sleek body shape reinforces the guitar’s modern character, giving it a stage-ready appearance that matches its powerful sound. The combination of dark finishes and contrasting fingerboard markers makes the GRGR131EX an appealing choice for players who prefer a bold, understated look.
