The Ibanez PS60 Paul Stanley Signature electric guitar is designed to stand out, just like the legendary KISS frontman himself. Known for their explosive stage performances and iconic rock anthems, KISS became one of the biggest names in rock music during the 1970s. In 1976, Paul Stanley teamed up with Ibanez to develop his own signature guitar. When they began working on the design in 1977, Stanley was drawn to the unique shape of the Ibanez Artist 2663, which later became known as the Iceman. Its unusual, asymmetrical body caught his attention and became the inspiration for his signature model.
The guitar features a maple neck that provides stability and a bright tonal character, making it comfortable and reliable to play. The purpleheart fretboard adds a distinctive look and contributes to the guitar’s rich tonal character. The Ibanez Infinity pickups deliver a tight, clear, and balanced sound with excellent dynamics. Even with high-gain settings, they maintain their clarity, making this guitar a great choice for rock tones, powerful riffs, and lead playing. Overall, the Ibanez PS60 combines a unique design, solid construction, and versatile sound, making it a great option for players who want a guitar with a classic rock look and feel.
