For enhanced playability, the Martin D-X1E Figured Koa HPL boasts a thinner fingerboard width (1¾” at the nut) with a gently beveled comfort edge and refined string spacing, plus a modernized bridge contour for a smooth and comfortable playing experience. With its signature Dreadnought size the Martin D-X1E Koa is loud and projective with strong bass, unplugged or plugged in, and lends itself to any genre and experience level. The D-X1E also comes with satin tuners and Martin E-1 electronics, featuring a built-in chromatic tuner and volume, tone, and phase controls, letting you plug in and play at any volume.
